  • Borth Rowing Club

Borth Rowing Club was founded in 2000, and has around 30 members of all ages and abilities. We row every week in our two Celtic Longboats all year round, enter competitions throughout the summer and always welcome new members.

We coach all beginners and the coaching is provided by Qualified British Rowing Level 2 Coaches. We encourage people of all ages (from 12 to 70+) to participate. Applications for membership will be accepted from anyone over the age of 11 years. The age restriction on membership is due entirely to safety considerations. There is no upper age limit.

Celtic Longboats are very safe and stable and are thus very suitable for people with a physical disability, and we thus encourage all people to join in the enjoyment of rowing.

Our main aim is to keep the fun in the sport and enjoy our time rowing in the wonderful surroundings of Borth and the Estuary at Ynyslas but we're also working towards future victories in the Welsh Sea Rowing Association racing leagues!
